Dylan Modesitt is the Chief Investment Officer for SESCO. He joined the company in 2018 as a Quantitative Researcher, gradually taking on more responsibilities and eventually becoming the Head of Quantitative Strategies before assuming his current role. Prior to joining SESCO, Dylan was an undergraduate and did research at the MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, CERN’s CMS and ATLAS experiments, and the MIT Media Lab.
At SESCO Dylan is responsible for designing and building the trading simulation and analytic systems and designing and executing the investment strategy. This includes designing and implementing a systematic approach to portfolio construction.
Dylan earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
